Ok well the idiots at sears really did it this time. They must have cross threaded all of my studs so when i tried to remove them with my impact gun the splines on the wheel hub stripped out while the lugs were half way off. What do i do now? It can't drive the car becouse the other two studs are cross threaded as well but i was able to get the lugs off never to go back on again. so basically my rim is still on the car but is very loose seeing as two lugs are off and the other two are half way off but jammed. how can i get my rim off so sort out the problem?Thanx

break the studs by what means maybe a screw driver. I do have the alloy wheels so the lugs are inside of the rim and hard to pry at.

call up sears and have them tow it back, then fix what they did wrong.if not that i would imagine you would have to remove the wheel, then pound the old lugs out of the hub, and put new ones back in.

You could drill out the studs with a drill and then snap them off and put new studs on. It will take a long time, but there is always a way to get things apart.

use a rotary cut off tool. You will scratch the rim around your stud but you need to get that bugger off.

Thanx for the idea but the only one that will seem to work it drilling them out. However i was there for about 30mins andi got to a stand still where the bit wasn't doing anything. I guess i will just have it towed to sears. They ordered me 2 new front knuckle assemblies as they call them. It will be funny when i explain to them they have to cut the dust shields off to fit my q45 brakes.
