i stripped the threads on the block for the oil feed line, the one closer to the oil pan. The motor is is still in the car. Should i use a helicoil to repair it? Also if i take out he turbo manifold with the turbo what lines have to come off and what percautions should i take

I had to do the same thing. I lost my washer/brass gasket thing and i didn't realize it so i just kept tightening it and it held til the next time i had to take it off and i had to use a helicoil. I just left the tab on mine and it ran fine.
