I'm sure the majority of you guys know of this easy method to take out stripped phillips head screws but my friend didn't and i figure some others could find this tip helpful. Its also extremely useful in situations where you don't have much room for an extractor.

Use a metal cutting wheel bit on a dremel to cut a thin slice down the middle of the screw's head, deep enough to get a flat head. Then the stripped phillips is essentially a deeper flathead and MUCH easier to take out. Just don't cut it too deep!

Craftsman also makes a tool for this to remove stripped bolts/screws
