I've got the linkage on one side replaced, and halfway off on the other side [top nut removed], but the bottom nut is stripped so bad that nothing I've tried so far has been able to hold onto it well enough. I've used a rust penetrant/lubricant, but no luck yet. Should I just try to drill it out? I've got the back of the car on ramps.

Thanks for any suggestions.

are you talking about the end-links or the D bracket?

well, do you have new ones replacing the old ones? If so... I'd just cut them off, or do whatever you need to take them off...

what do you mean by drilling them out? Once the top lock nut is out... everything should come off as soon as you take the bushings out. (its been awhile since I've seen my own swaybars, so bear with me)

Yes, I have a replacement. The endlinks on one side have alrady been replaced, as the lower nut had fallen/ripped/rusted off. I want to get the other side symmetrical so i bought a second link kit, but the lower nut on this one is being a bastard. top one is off. I was thinking about trying to cut thru the bushings, but idk. By drilling it out I mean drilling the metal out of the center of the nut. This might be harder, idk.

Thanks for getting back to me.
