I also pulled all the wiring from rear of the car and cleaned it up. I removed the antenna wiring, defrost wiring and speaker wiring. And re-ran in in between the outer and inner quarter panel metal.
I'll send him a message. I bought a air chisel at HarborFreight ($10.62 w/ tax) on Sunday and it worked perfect. I just have to remove the rest in the foot wells and on the wheel arches. BTW, the stuff on the wheel arches is different. It doesn't come off with an air chisel, I'm going to have to go with the dry ice method. Where is a good place to find some?AZ89two4Tsx wrote:^ Pretty sure that's not his car.
E-mail S13Teddy to get a good answer about the wiring. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to help.
And both cars above have had the sound deadening/insulation removed. Most use a chisel and dry ice.
Thanks man. I'm on it.420sxWETDREAMS wrote:hit my sig to check mine its alittle more detailed
Around here, the only place to get dry ice is the grocery store. I've never seen it anywhere else. You have to be 18 I think if that's an issue too.jlmphoto wrote: It doesn't come off with an air chisel, I'm going to have to go with the dry ice method. Where is a good place to find some?
I was thinking grocery store as I typed the above statement. Don't have the age problem and I've worked around Liquid Nitrogen before so I know what it can do to skin. Has anyone ever tried LN instead of Dry Ice?AZ89two4Tsx wrote:Around here, the only place to get dry ice is the grocery store. I've never seen it anywhere else. And be careful if you've never handled it before. ALWAYS wear gloves or it will literally burn your skin off, it's that cold.

Thanks man that thread helped a lot. I'm having trouble getting the wheel well stuff out, I'm going to try heat...didn't think about that.Warped161 wrote:i dont know how to post my other thread in here but there is a link under pic.
Thanks for the tip. Do you know if liquid nitrogen will work? I have better access to that. Also, do you have any photos you can share of your door sills after completion. The wiring look there is what I don't know what to do with.Warped161 wrote:heat will make a huge mess, the dry ice makes the whole job really easy and you can get it from most large ice distributors.
