I am in the process of stripping my interior and putting it back together. Can someone direct me to some shots of interiors that have been stripped to get some ideas of what direction to go. I need some inspiration on hiding wires and such. Thanks in advance!

This is S13Teddy's car and taken from his build thread:

S13Teddy wrote: I continued my interior work. I had removed all the sound deadening in the rear and primered it to get an idea of what it would look like. I installed some S14 belts to remove the whole auto seatbelt system.

I also pulled all the wiring from rear of the car and cleaned it up. I removed the antenna wiring, defrost wiring and speaker wiring. And re-ran in in between the outer and inner quarter panel metal.

Yeah Enjoi that looks great. That is how I want mine to look. Can you send me some photos of the door sills inside the car? I am interested in how to hide the wiring. Also I would love to see more detailed shots of the footwells. Did you get rid of all the insulation and that hard black junk that is holding it down?

^ Pretty sure that's not his car.

E-mail S13Teddy to get a good answer about the wiring. I'm sure he'd be more than happy to help.

And both cars above have had the sound deadening/insulation removed. Most use a chisel and dry ice.

I'll send him a message. I bought a air chisel at HarborFreight ($10.62 w/ tax) on Sunday and it worked perfect. I just have to remove the rest in the foot wells and on the wheel arches. BTW, the stuff on the wheel arches is different. It doesn't come off with an air chisel, I'm going to have to go with the dry ice method. Where is a good place to find some?

Around here, the only place to get dry ice is the grocery store. I've never seen it anywhere else. You have to be 18 I think if that's an issue too. :gotme

And be careful if you've never handled it before. ALWAYS wear gloves or it will literally burn your skin off, it's that cold.

I was thinking grocery store as I typed the above statement. Don't have the age problem and I've worked around Liquid Nitrogen before so I know what it can do to skin. Has anyone ever tried LN instead of Dry Ice?

heat will make a huge mess, the dry ice makes the whole job really easy and you can get it from most large ice distributors.

Thanks for the tip. Do you know if liquid nitrogen will work? I have better access to that. Also, do you have any photos you can share of your door sills after completion. The wiring look there is what I don't know what to do with.

I plan on leaving my door panels intact too. I am going to take the carpet out though.
