So I stripped the threads inside the head that the exhaust manifold bolts thread into. I guess it was just time as I put like less then 20 pounds of torque on it and the bolt wouldn't hold torque so I pulled it out and sure enough the threads came with it.

I've searched but I can't find the size of drill bit I'll need to drill out the hole or the size of the heli-coil I need to put in.Anyone know?

Also any chance of passing emissions with one bolt with no torque like this?Unfortunately it's like the first bolt instead of being one more towards the middle of the manifold.

All this **** for emissions..

you might have luck grinding the studs down, and using a reverse drill bit to back them out.

I have 3 bolts missing the manifold stays in place fine for now. I at first I was little scared of high RPMs but it actully holds up to 6,000 RPM with out any gas blowing pass it. But I am planing on fixing that problem soon.P.S. I've passed emission test in BC, but I think it's a lot more strict in CA
