Ok, heres my problem. I am disassembling my Z, changing a few lifters, and Im at the point that I need to remove the water inlet fixture. It is held in by 3 allen head bolts. I have 2 of the 3 bolts out already, but now the third bolt's allen hole is rounded off. I have tried several different things to get it out, tried a torx bit to get some bite, tried some stripped bolt removal tool to no avail, the bolt ate it up, tried a flat blade bit, banged it in and torqued down, only to have the corners of the flat blade bend. Ive even gotten the hoses off the fittings, and can spin it a bit either way, but the bolt persists. I had an overheat event about a year or so ago, is it possible that perhaps the heat has caused the bolt to fuse a bit inside? Its in a bit of a conspicuous spot to really be able to work on, as Im not pulling the engine out. I was going to try crimping some vise grips on the head of it and turn, but Im guessing that since it bent a stout flat blade bit, the vise grips arent going to cut it. The only other thing I can think to try is to cut a grove in the head of the bolt to try and get a larger flat blade bit in it to remove it. Any other suggestions?
Also, another small thing, whats the best method for scraping out the artifacts from the oil seals that were left behind when removing the camshaft?
