So I'm a grad student with an '89 with 245K on it and they have some cheap F & R upper and lower strut/brace bars on Ebay and I was wondering should I even spend the money? I bought a ES full kit, cheap, thinking about pineapple subframe bushings as well. Will these bars tie the car together a little better even if they might be the "low" end bars, or is it not worth my time? Looking to improve the susp, but I think it'll make it stiffer and a harsher ride, which I think the ES will also do, would appreciate any input/two cents...thanks

I have some cheap Ebay front and rear strut tower bars combined with front and rear Suspension Techniques Sway Bars.

I believe the both are really helpful keeping the car planted and reducing roll during hard cornering. I went cheap with the strut bars, but I wouldn't do the same for sway bars, though.

But... there are some vendors in NICO's Fabricator's Marketplace with some reallt badass strut bars. I think it's Stealth Fabricators or something... they have a front strut bar that bolts to your firewall for maximum strength...

My car's previous owner was an eBay lover. I've had to replace his mistakes. The sway bars are godspeed, an eBay special. I'm not sure they do too much. Though they're large, I'm pretty sure they might be hollow, the bends are lame, and the bushings are cracked stock rubber. There's also an ebay front strut bar and I have an ebay rear strut bar sitting in my garage. I might want to try out the rear strut bar for the track day I'm going to because I can feel the inside rear tire trying to lift off the ground in a very tight, lower speed turn where I'm getting tons of grip.
