hey is the ka24e timing chain a problem with anybody?i mean is it a common problem?oh and what usually comes in a timing chain kit???gracias

the timing chain guides always go bad - as far as timing chain problems it depends a lot on previous engine care.

a timing chain kit should come with the chain, all the guides, the tensioner, the sprockets, a crack oil seal and a tube of liquid sealer for reinstalling the front cover. always double check with the person you are buying it from to make sure they are giving you all the correct pieces.

on an after note... look up the removal pattern for the cover (sort of like tighting the lugs on a tire you go in a star pattern) the FSM has the pattern search for it.
