Is there anybody who knows the number of strength of S13 chassis, like how much force is need to rotate one degree of chassis or something like that? I know some numbers for german cars, but haven't heard of S13 or other japanese cars. Thanks.

You mean rigidity?

Yeah, about that... I go over speed bumps and can hear the sealant around the hatch complaining. I'm pretty sure some STBs will fix (or reduce) that though.

Why do you ask? Are you concerned about chassis flex in auto-x or drift? If that's the case, just know that the car does hold up, just ask any of the owners on these boards. But like many other cars, you may wish to tune the chassis as the need arises. I.e. there's no reason to install power braces, STBs, etc. etc. if your S13 is your DD and never breaks 80mph on the freeway. NOW, if you're drifting around corners at 75mph when you SHOULD be going 30, then you might consider it.

But to answer your question more directly, I haven't seen any chassis flex/rigidity tests or results for the S13, but then again, of yet I haven't a need to find such numbers.

Trunk model is stiffer and probably lighter.
