strength of a 92 240

im curious if a 240 could hadle a 350 chevy, i know its not japanese but hey it what i got, i know a rx7 could handle it and you can buy complete subframes for them but i want to hot rod it, also the rear end- can it handle big power, i see drifters with lots of power going through them , im just not sure if it will handle 500 ft lbs maybe with some better gears, i dont know im also not planning on running a slickany help would be appericiated thanks again

a 350 sure why the hell not? I've seen big v8's crammed into the 40's engine bay. The rear end should handle 500 without too much fuss, but at that level, start considering replacing the rear axles.

thanks for the input , know where i can get rear end parts for them ?? does strange or richmond make gears/axles?
