I was wondering if the CA could bring a s13 into the 12s, I know it could be reached out of streetable limits, but the goal is something that could be afforable to drive on the streets? Is this something that can be achieved or just a myth? Would the lack of displacement begin to bring the engine down?

Yes! The CA18 can get a S13 into the 12s. Don't worry about those 1809cc's being competent enough to handle such a task because it is. Boost it and fuel it right and you will have your 12 second time slip.

Destruction of stock pulsar mounts:D But I have delrin inserts on my race sentra, but it used to vibrate and I wasn't used to it! But other than that traction is an issue especially with no LSD.

Just got all my parts to start my build, JE Forgies, T3/T04E turbonetics turbo, Turbonetics deltagate, RC ENG 550's and some other nice tricks up my sleve.. i want to run 12's and think it will be easy with the right set up and some N20 to help keep temps down and power up. my buddy ryan garcia will be building my engine, re was recently seen setting records in his 84 mitsu lancer (4g63) that went 7.7 @ 174 mhp yowza, i think we'll get it into 12's.. pics to come soon

I don't think you should have a hard time getting your car into the 12's even on stock internals and no N20. It's just a matter of getting that power to the ground, that's the trick! I saw that lancer. Actually, I taped that car during a visit here in the states at moroso motorsports park and that car simply flies. He lost his race because the car bogged off the line, but still managed an 8 second run! Good luck on building your motor and keep us posted!

All of that stuff will work and a good intercooler as well as a decent launching technique.

ok well ryan's car is the blue (with white stripes) RHD 84 lancer that is in orlando and races at moroso, he was living there and ahs now decided to come back home to Trinidad to live and set up shop, would you guys believe that car runs 7's and 8's comfortably and weighs 2200+ lbs??? it used to be his street car and was cut into pieces by a lamp post racing a lambo and porsche on the freeway at over 160mph.. very scary, but he and the engnine survived to be put into a similar lancer witht he parts to build the car you see now..

but anyway, i think the parts you need are listed in my signature.. and add allot more nick knacks and doo dads in there and a few thousad dollars and it should be right...

Forged Pistons * rings etcForged Rods + bearing etc264 + Cams and valve springs & solid lifters & retainers etcBIG FM INtercoolerBIG injectorsgood ignition system and controllEngine ManagementOIl system upgradecooling system upgradegood clutchnew upgraded oil and water pumpsMetal Headgasketgood fasteners (volts)

and allot of time and money tunnign the dam thing, i have been buying parts for about 5 months now and will still be putting this thing together for about the next few months, aiming for april or so to complete and install, but i am hopeing for 400 Hp and low 12 second time slips even less if we can.. with ryans help i am sure it will be easy, building him a website for him and his parents companies in trade for the engine build and tuning.. hehe.
