I'm sorry, but the track is a much better place when racing...especially at speed exceeding 100mph.

Thats really disapointing I knew that paticular volvo was a beast, but I would think you had him. I have to agree with the other guys keep it on a track, thats why tuners have a bad rep and are hassled by the fuzz.

yah S60s are sick... They basically look just like Fords new Falcons XR8s... Those are even sicker looking and probably just as fast but still I like both of them.

O and yah. S60 Rs should be any stock Maxima. I mean they are Turbo'd 300HP cars and with some S60's being AWD...

I owned an s60 R for about 10 months when they first came out. Yes they are very fast and very awesome but only in the high-end and only for about 8 months. They take a long time to spool up and get going. Also there is practically no turn radius on them...it was very annoying. Also, mine started to develop piston slapping when the engine was cold. I asked the dealer and they said it was normal. I doubt it. So I sold it. In the long run...pretty good decision. A lot of consumer reports came out about the first gen s60's and all their problems. I can't comment on the new s60's, so maybe Volvo has gotten their act together....I sure hope they did..because the s60 is a fantastic looking car. I also like the v70R as well as the new v50 t5.

Besides, who needs high-end anyhow except on the track, any and all street racing is won with torque.

And don't race at those speeds!! Holy crappola! You're going to get you and other people killed. Granted, it is fun to blast off the line at a stop-light. But, anything over 80 is a bit much on public roads. Word of advice -- Pot holes suck at any speed over 5mph.

Street racing is gay, and illegal. Tracks are cheap, and you should take it there.
