Street Racers kill a mother and her 2 yr old daughter in my area. Very sad

Hopefully they will get a traffic signal...I know of many intersections like that.

How awful. What a waste. We had an intersection like that here a while back. My husband and I were stopped at it one day and I said "it is going to take someone getting killed here to get them to put up a light". The very next week, some drunk plowed into a pregnant lady and her child killing them both. It was the daughter of our weatherman that everbody in Memphis has always loved. It was so sad. They had that light popped up in a week or two though. It didn't take long at all.

I always thought that a perfect thing would be a track that was open all hours for grudge racing. If someone is picking on you on the street...tell them to meet you there. People that really didn't have anything would back down. People that really wanted to race would meet you there, pay 5-10 bucks, find out who really has the fastest car. Even have a camera at the end of the track to take a pic for you for an extra charge like they do at amusement parks. That would end a lot of it.
