It's been a week since my last formal race... Who's down in Georgia for an all Versa throwdown? Preferably stock engines.

Most people will object to street racing.

street race, **** bad enough on the 110 today, the freeway with no entrance to get speed some idiot decided to pull out thinking he could make it, (no I wasn't street racing, but I was going faster than the speed limit I admin, like 75mph. swerved out of the way and braked into the second lane, and lost it, spun out luckily missing the car in the 1st lane of the 3 lane highway, and just missing the idiot who pulled infront of me. TG that the Versa and I were both fine, it didnt want to go, was reving to like 3000 RPMs, and was going 10mph, slipped into neutral and back to drive and it worked, and I got the F*** outta there! lolz, well not really the guy who pulled infront of me decided to take off so I went after him and he continued driving like nothing had happened! Motherf***er! I was pissed off, my tires are now out of alignment and my car pulls to the left which could mean something worse than tire rotation.

RANT OVER and sorry for slightly thread jacking, but after that I don't think I will be street racing now.

If you got a track I think more people would be inclined to show. Not many people are going to risk tickets or jail time over a street race.

We do not condone street racing on this board.

Please don't try to arrange one through this board, it's completely inappropriate.

I should have mentioned it's on a factory track that a friend's of mine family owns, so it's on private property and should be completely legal!

I wouldn't be stupid enough to advertise an illegal street race on public domain...

Plus, who would say that a cop or 5 wouldn't reply and then try and bust me?

SO...

Anyone interested in a track race?

New law in Ontario, Canada. If you are caught running Nitrous Oxide on the street, it's a $2,000 fine and 6 months in jail! Too many people getting killed in street races. I'm afraid I have little sympathy for the offenders. That doesn't mean I don't like fast cars (something the Versa isn't) but I take it to the track for my jollies. I had my previous PT Cruiser turbo going faster at the end of the quarter mile than I ever did on the street. 94+ mph in 15 seconds flat. Not bad for a 4 banger in a 3,300 pound car.

Ive recently been trying to drive at the speed limit, trying to get more out of my tank. EVERYBODY here speeds. I had one lady give me the finger because I didnt try to jump in front of her coming off the highway.
