Just rented it today. It's amazing game, gorgeous visuals, very beautiful. Gameplay is fun, though difficult at times. What are your opinions?

It's a good game. If you like Street Fighter you can't miss this one. The new moves and strategies are a great addition. The fake fireball is my favorite.

...if I did not have to buy new tires and a new clutch I would be all over this game, as well as Halo Wars.

...I do have a $50 dolla gift card @ Gamestop

I am the ORIGINAL Krimson Viper. I don't mind the looks on the fake one though.

Mmmm, look at my beautiful tits.

Wait, I mean her tits.

Haha yeah, I'd buy it too but I just got my tax return and have some spending on the car to do

The frustrating thing about the game are some of the combos. I can't pull off Ryu's Ultra Combo, even though the controls aren't difficult.

Dunno if you've heard, but there's a $100 price drop on the 80GB PS3 in April, so might wanna wait till then

And I figured out how to pull of that move. Forgot that L1 was heavy punch, which is what I needed.

haha I think of you everytime I play the game. no h0m0.

I LOVE this game. It's sooo much deeper than any other fighter out there. Arcade mode alone takes a few hours if you want to unlock all characters. but then there's also the Challenge modes for EACH character, Survival mode/Time Attack, where you can unlock everyone's alternate costume colors and personal actions, there's Online play where you can unlock different Titles & Icons.. it also helps that the game is BEAUTIFUL, and gameplay is fast-paced. The new attacks & specials are great too, they really add a lot more strategy to the fight.

It's good that Capcom is keeping us updated with new DLC too, with the alternate costumes and all. hopefully they treat us with new Specials and new levels to unlock too.

if anyone wants to send me a challenge, hit me up anytime I'm on!!

In this economy I wouldn't mind it, but to be honest the series is great, and I like Capcom for other games too so I don't wanna slander them. I would, however, like them to put some sort of recognition of my name in the credits. THAT would be awesome.

No problem. If you've got PS2 games, download the "patch" from PSN that'll allow you to play those games. Works on all but the 40GB.

One more question, is there a patch for PS1 games too?

No patch is required to play PS1 games. The software is already programmed into the PS3.

I played it at a friend's house a few times. I've been wanting this for a while but I'm a PC gamer. I just found out a few days ago it's going to be released on PC, I can't wait!

^ I didn't realize all PS3's can play PS1 games. You learn something new everyday.

The 60Gb and early 80Gb are the only versions that can play PS2 games.

The 60Gb has full hardware backwards compatibility and can play all PS2 games. The early 80Gb has software backwards compatibility and may not play all PS2 games correctly.

At least that's what a PS3 FAQ had to say about it.

I play it on dreamcast, I like the DC arcade stick, buy a dreamcast instead, burning DC games is effortless. I have all the best fighters on on cd-r's straight off snes-o-roma

the MVC2 HD looks exciting, the wider screen is a little weird. and some things don't line up, but capcom is thoro and they know how to hold it down.
