ok ...what i want here is a good street alignment...i wanna get the most out of my tires while haveing good grip.... so I have a few questions.

what is the stock alignment suppose to be set at?

on the s13 what is a good camber mix??ie: if i run 1.5 degrees up front what should be run out back??.....1 degreeI was thinking?looking for even balance with a very small amount of oversteer bias.I plan to run a toe of 0 to 1/32" toe in all around..

I've never done an alignment on a 240sx b4 so experianced advice is appreshiated.

and i'm not looking for a drift alignment.

your toe is purely a directional angle, meaning it wont affect your ride's feel as much as camber. For camber, dont you think -1.5 in the front is too much? That'd tear up too much of your inner tire's tread...Remember, you want a street setup. Meaning you'd like to keep most of what little treadlife your 17 lowprofiles will have after you run them. If you're more into drifting, set the rear to about -0.5 to -1.0. the fronts shouldnt be set so high for the streets. If you're just a regular driver/grip driver who's not into slinging it sideways all the time, then about -0.25 in the rear would be good. Try -0.1 for the fronts, it should keep you planted even on hard turns.....

Performance wise, I'm not entirely sure about the figures I've given will suffice for your purposes. But I am currently in Wyotech and am in the Steering and Suspension class. If anyone disagrees, feel free to take their advice over mine. Remember, the settings i've given you are supposed to keep you from tearing up too much of your tread.

For Nissan's, they like negative camber so I think the the numbers you said are close. Dont know the actual numbers for an S13 but on mine I setted it to those specs do not have any problems with it and considering mine is an S14 though. You might want to go a little more positive than that it you want tire longevitiy. A little more positive on the driver side than the passenger, and more caster on the passenger side, these are to compensate for road crown. You should consider how you want your car to perform like first before doing anything. Mine is setup to perform different than what you wanted though.

ok thanks for the info..

those camber numbers of -0.1 up front and -0.25 in the rear are much too low, the factory s13 settings are closer to -1 degree all around...I think the oem rear is actually closer to -1.4...with settings that low once you hit a corner your bushing flex will put you well into the positive camber numbers and you'll wear the outside of your tires off like GM's do...
