I plan on installing my Warpspeed Y tomo morning, so I climbed in under my car for a minute this evening to take a look at where everythign is bolted, and I saw this strange green wire-casing bolted on the Drivers Side near the Cat (You can see it in the background). Looks like it was either intentionally cut, or it may have gotten ripped off. What could this be??

That's a grounding strap. Since you have an o2 sensor plugged in back there it helps keep a clean signal by keeping a local ground...

However, it's not actually necessary, so don't worry about it.

also your car looks pretty rusted, I would expect the cat bolts and possibly studs to back out or snap off when you try to remove them. This may be the case for the exhaust manifold studs, too. I would keep plenty of penetrating fluid/liquid wrench handy, soak 'em tonight if possible. If it's rusted really bad you may need a blowtorch, and you may need to remove the old studs and nuts and tap in new ones.

This man gives good advice!

I actually lucked out on my y-pipe bolts, but the rear bolts on the cat had to be cut out when I had my cat-back installed.

I attempted to install the Warpspeed Y this evening when I got home. The bolts were so rusted on everything that they kind of just turned into a wet rusty dust from the penetrant when I tried to loosen anything off. I guess that I'll have to bring it to an exhaust shop this week and get them to cut everything off and replace all of the bolts.

How much should a job like that run me (How many hours)?????

I think I paid between $50-75 USD to get my SP2 installed; and my stock cat-back had to be torched off. The easiest thing to do is have the shop torch out holes where the factory bolts are; then use a regular bot-lock washer-nut combination.

That sounds like some sound advice. I might just get them to torch all the bolts from the Y back so that I don't have to get it done again when I round up the money for a cat-back.

If I can get my hands on a Magnaflow Resonator, and an ebay Stainless Mandrel Bent Dual Muffler, should I have any problems getting that exhaust Fab'd up?How much would the Custom Fab Job run? I know that you haven't done this, but I'm hoping someone who has will see this and give me a hand.

The guy posted a sound clip, and it didn't sound that bad. I'd hope that the resonator would give it a little better sound. The two links are below.....
