2003 G35 sedan, 48K miles. On intermittant, the wipers stop at the low point, then periodically they jerk hard down another inch or two below the windshield. Happens once in every 5 to 6 wipes. They don't seem to be slipping, as the area wiped stays the same. . No problems on standard slow or fast wipe. Any ideas? Thanks, PeteM.

hi pete,i've been having the same problem as you are.works perfect in standard "slow" or "fast" modes, however on delay,it hesitates then comescrashing down.unfortunately,i don't have an answer for it either.it appears to me that warmer weather seems to let the wiper motor run smoother and i don't notice it happening.it's a possibility that the cold weather is exposing the beginnings of motor failure.i also suspect we're not alone on this.seems like a long time as passed without a reply from someone. hopefully,we'll have an answer soon.

Sorry you havn't heard back yet, I think everyone is busy today, I just popped by for the first time now

I don't have much to offer, except that I have my own problem with the wipers... my washer nozzles are messed up and don't project the washer fluid properly

I had an issue with my wiper assembly. I posted up a fix as well.

Did you try a search?

I started a new thread in the Interior/Exterior/Audio subforum for easier searching.

I had this Problem also. I replaced the wiper motor and it works fine now. About a 15 min job.
