Strange "whistle"?

I drive a 93' 240 coupe. Im not sure what sound it is but thats the closest thing i can think of. It happens at about 2500 to 3500 rpm but only at those rpm. In every gear. The sound is coming from the engine bay. My friends have told me its a belt,or the fan clutch. But i have no idea what it may be. Any info would be great thanks.

Maybe a intake duct hose leak or a cracked vac. hose ??
