First off, I searched and could not find anything matching my problem.

I bought the car about 3 weeks ago. s13 Redtop in '90 s13.

Things wrong with the car first off:IACV has no coolant lines hooked upTPS is from an automatic SR

The car will have no throttle response at all at 5% to 10% throttle (while moving in gear, in N it will be fine), and then buck once and be smooth from about 10% to 100%. The throttle seems like an abrupt on/off switch. It is NOT consistent! If I turn the car off for a few minutes, it will sometimes go away completely and run perfect. Then, when it is running perfect, I will get on it and do a full throttle pull, and right after the hard pull that will cause it to go back into being ghey mode. And the idle has a mind of its own, it will stall out sometimes, idle rough, idle perfect, or idle at 1500. (I think due to the IACV not getting coolant)

Due to it being an Auto TPS, I couldnt get any reading on voltimeter. I tried many times.

It has me stumped because it will come and go.

1.) IACV does not need coolant flow, so dont worry too much about that unless you live in the north.

2.) I also have an auto TPS but i CAN get a reading on VM and i can monitor throttle position with Greddy E-01. So either you are not doign it correctly or the tps is bad/incorrectly wired.

1.) Holy crap! good to know living in FL. Mechanic told me that was causing bad idle.

2.) Which wire to you push the positive probe into?? There are 6 coming out of TPS, and 4 of those connected to Harnesssssss

Thank you
