I'm on my iPod and tried to search but it's hard on his thing so bare with me please

so I took my friend to work about a 15 min freeway drive, car ran fine. So we park and I notice my temp gauge is all the way to the H I freaked out and turned the car off. I sat there thinking WTF could of happened while the temp gauge slowly started going lower then my friend opens the door to get out andhr gauge jumps up to h again. She shut the door and it went back down I was confused as hell so I turned my running lights on and the gauge jumped a little, so I turned my headlfhts on and it jumped backto h. When I turned the switch back to my running lights it went down a little and when I turned those off it went down a again to he middle.

Everytine I used anything electricle including my windows the gauge went up a little untill power stopped flowing.

So I checked under the hood to look around the car was warm but only felt like it does at about running temp and the car wasn't sizzling and the rad wasn't boiling over. The fan clutch felt alrght only spun slihtly more than I remember but seems to be working fine when car is running. I have a new water pump also. So WTF could be causing this and on the drive home the car was fine and he temp stayed in the middle

You sir have a short of epic proportions. I'd say pull your water temp sensor and replace it with a known working unit (borrow someones for testing purposes) if the problem goes away go get a new temp sensor, if the problem continues you need to start combing through your entire harness. You want to look for any exposed wires, sections that look melted and or any piecese of wire that may be broken. Finding electrical short are the most problematic and hardest issue to resolve, but short or replacing your entire wiring harness you'll just be chasing electrical gremlins for the life of your car.
