strange sounds ??

hi guys theres this strange knocking sound coming from the front of my engine at idle . it comes and goes. Anyone know what this could be? thanks

KA24DE engines have a somewhat notorious problem with the upper timing chain guide, which can supposedly be safely removed with just 1 or 2 bolts once you get the valve cover off . . .
