I'm at the dealership for the second time this week waiting for a service tech so I can replicate the sound.

When I corner hard, like a cloverleaf on-ramp to the freeway and go in hot, turning to the right the sound comes in loud and clear. It sounds similar to a bad brake lining but I'm not touching the brakes. You guys have any idea what this might be so I can describe the correct repair?

Maybe a bad wheel bearing?

Problem solved. It was the dust guard rubbing against the rotor upon hard cornering. There was a rock wedged in behind the dust guard pushing it closer to the rotor.

It would have been nice if they discovered the rock behind the dust guard the first time I brought the car in on Monday. Oh well, got two free car washes in one week.
