strange scratches on driver side glass

i have an 08 Altima 2.5s Sedan. i've had some scratches that looks like ////// ////on my driver side window. at first i thought it was some strange rock that hit it and made the scratches, but i believe that it has gotten worse.I'm thinking that is a gear or something inside the door that made them. so I'm wondering if anyone else has had that same issue...

I have an 08 coupe and a few months ago i noticed the same thing but they go straight up and down. theres about 5 of them and i thought they were just smudges that dried from soap or something getting down there when i washed it but they wont come off

I'll take it to the dealer soon and see what kind BS they'll tell me.Thank god it's under warrenty.

I've been way too busy, so haven't had a chance to take it down to the dealer. I'm gonna do it next Friday. I'll let u know.

If it is the same thing I think you are talking about, I had the same issue when I purchased my coupe. It was on the inside of the glass and looks like scratches and would not "wash" off. It kind of looked like a wax build up but with a little elbow grease, it did come off. Just using window cleaner did not do the trick, you have to rub pretty hard to remove it. Even after getting the smudges off, everytime I rolled the window up and down it would leave a little smudge but after a little while...it stopped. Guess there was something like a hard rubber molding in the door/window track that needed to wear down.

No man, this is on the outside, and they are deep goudges in the glass.

Boy...you having all kinds of problems...when you bring it back to the dealer, be sure to have them check those keys too!

No bro...never laugh at you, but I will laugh with you! I know that these little issue could be a pain in the azzzzzzzz. I hate going to the dealer for anything.

Sorry, didn't mean to yell at u. Like u said, it's a pain in the arzzz.BTW, does mchalle (or whatever his/her tag is) know what they r talking about?Can trust that person? Might attempt to change my transmission fluid, so I need to know before I follow their instruction.
