I have searched this forum and haven't found this topic yet, but then I might be looking for the wrong thing. I recently took a drive down to S.C. and I was pulling 80mph. I stopped to get gas and I reversed in to the pump and i had a horrible screeching/rubbing noise from the area of the transmission. Everything engaged but that noise was there until the clutch was fully engaged or disengaged. I didn't have it again until I was returning and I stopped once more to get fuel. It did it in first and reverse but no other gears. I have since found it only does it sometimes, but mainly when it is super warm, or super cold. If something like this has already been asked please point me in the right direction so I don't waste anyones time. Thanks a lot and I hope to fix it soon.

My guess would be the pilot bearing.
