I know the title doesn't say much, I just don't know how to describe my problem. I have a 90 S13 w/ a sr20det w/o power steering. When I turn my wheel hard right or left I hear a popping sound simular to a spring popping. I have no idea what it could be. I have brand new Stance coilovers I'm not sure if they are the problem or the fact that I don't have power steering any more. Any ideas?

sounds like you have busted bushings, preferably tc rods? have you looked into that?

I just had a mechanic look at it and he couldn't see anything wrong. He did say my rack might be going up since its not being lubercated with power steering fluid. Does that sound possible?
