strange noises

OK so when ever my car goes into reverse there is a scrubbing sound coming from what sounds like my rear right rotor or something but when I go to look at it(not in depth still have on the wheel) I can't notice anything out of the ordinary and then when ever I turn my car my steering from under the car sounds like the titanic on it's last leg as one of my friends said its like an old skrechin sound so any help would help thanks.

What have you checked?You need to look at the brakes and the steering and tell us what you have found. we need more symtoms. The things you list are too vage
