Well this noise has been therea for maybe 2 months now, didnt really effect performance, but i thought i would ask anyway...when im driving and i go to shift, clutch goes in and i hear this noise, not really loud but audible, push the clutch in and i hear a ZZZZzzzzttccchhhhh my first thought was clutch chatter but now i notice it whenever im decelerating from a high rpm, anything above 4k, not braking but just letting off the gas and it makes the noise for maybe 4 seconds, it goes away below 3k, so then i thought timing chain, so i took off my valve cover to see if i could get a look at the chains, upper one has no slack at all, couldnt see the lower one...any ideas? oh yea, i guess i should mention its a 93' w/KADE

Could be the clutch throwout bearing.
