I've been meaning to post a picture of my busted oil pan I had to replace.
And I just broke a CV boot, splurging grease everywhere. $500+ OEM axle replacement
yours is MT so I'd just save up and turbo that babyIrvxing wrote:ANNND...... my urge to buy coils is officially gone.
CV boots were one of the first things I checked too. I was really scared something really expensive was breaking haha. How did you break yours? I though you were only on Eibach springs?alphapig wrote:Mmhmm.MetallicSlate wrote:I think its the price we pay to be low haha. I'm not even that low yet.

I don't think the axle/boot can be reached when bottoming out.DJ_B_Easy wrote:<--------Also curious.MetallicSlate wrote:How did you break your CV?
I assume you hit something, I think it would have broken no matter what you hit? Height of the CV boot isnt really effected by springs/coilovers? Or am I being an idiot?
Idk how you feel about remac parts but I replaced my front and left axles for about $200 through rockauto (excluding labor of course. I lucked out and got a friend to help me but I tipped him good because the job sucks).alphapig wrote:MetallicSlate wrote: And I just broke a CV boot, splurging grease everywhere. $500+ OEM axle replacement
I remember you dropped your coils so far below the mount that they damaged the boot... did they damage your axles as well?AlexM. wrote: Idk how you feel about remac parts but I replaced my front and left axles for about $200 through rockauto (excluding labor of course.
