So I jump in the 40 yesterday to go on lunch break, and fire the car up. But when I started it, it sounded like my batt was about to die. ( Insted of the starter sounding peppy and high pitch, she sounded like she had been drinking all night)

So no problem... go to advance auto, by a brand new red top battery. $150

I kept my other one btw.-- Reguardless, the starter sometimes still sounds like its not getting full power or its dying. "Most of the time" Of 4 total turnovers from yesterday to this morning.

OPINIONS?:

I dont know if I need to start looking for a starter... i might as well...

What do ya'll think.?

Yah... I haven't really troubleshot anything, except for new batt...

No corrosion, "mabye" Starter wires got "yanked" somehow.... but for it to go from perfect to one day acting a fool...

Do you think TT install could have effected this? I dont, but you never know.

Do you think i could be losing power to the starter from the splice in the ign. harness under steering colomn?

Well if you really wanna find out the villan here...Go to any Automotive place and get them to run a Full System test...It will test the battery, starter and the alternator. Its free at pep boys if you have one near you.

I get off in 5 minutes. I cant wait.! LoL

I just took the next 4 days off to give myself some time to get ol betsy back in action. Including a dyno visit and some bushings, and new motor mounts.

Know anyone with a starter?

Take a screw driver and jump the starter and see if it turns over.
