I have a 91 300zx TT and lately it has been randomly idling much higher than it should around 1600-2000 rpm. Anyone know what could cause this high idle. Only have a z1 pop charger intake and exhaust everything else is stock. Any thoughts would be great. Thanks.

Check iacv unit for proper operation, clean it out and use a new gasket. Ensure solenoids are reading correct ohms as per factory service manual available online for free (pretty sure there is a link on this forum to it or just google it).

Clean your throttle bodies, a quick search will show you a guide how to do it.

Check your tps for proper operaton and set voltage to 0.44v with a multimeter, again search and you shall find a guide.

There is also a section in the EF&EC section for troubleshooting a high idle when warm. (Page EF&EC 64)
