Strange idle on my S13 Sr20det

Here's the situation. When I start my car in the morning when it's cold the electronic choke kicks in to keep the idle at 1500rpms. After a couple of mins the choke turns off as it should but the car's idle drops down to 600rpms and then turns off. I have to feather the gas for a couple mins to keep the car running but after that the idle is perfect between 700-800rpms. Any idea what could be causing this?

Check the vacuum line that is on the underside of the throttle body, it usually goes to the BOV and that adjusts idle. It may have come off.
