Hi, everyone. I have read several posts on the Rogue Forum regarding poor engine turn-over but have yet to find what I experienced today. I have a 2008 Nissan Rogue S with ~75,500 km. The weather today is not particularly cold (5 degrees Celsius) and the car experienced no issue with the cold start. I let the car warm up before driving away and after a 20-30 minute drive, I returned home. I parked my car on the curb, turned off the engine and left the hazard lights on. After removing the second car from the garage, I returned to my Rogue, cranked the key and the dash lights came on but the engine did not turn over. I tried again and this time, the car started after about a one (1) second delay and the speedometer needle started jumping between 0-3 km/h, even though I was not pressing on the gas pedal and the car was set in park mode. If I had to take a guess, I would say this was an intermittent electrical problem.
I would truly appreciate it if anyone can offer some feedback or at least confirm that they experienced a similar issue. Thanks a bunch!
