when im driving normal-like, i experience a slight drop in power and torque around 2500-2800. its quite noticeable. it feels like its being bogged down, and once i get above that rpm, it feels fine again. when i get up to the higher rpms, and let off, there is a pretty loud rattle in the exhaust making me think the cat is horribly clogged or something isnt connected right. so i think a clogged cat may be the reason its bogging, but it doesnt affect the higher rpms.....so thats why im confused about this problem. has anyone else had the same thing happen to them?btw the car is a 92 coupe, 5spd, SE model. the only mod is a stock like HKS sport exhaust.thanks in advance,~Ender

hmm i had a similar problem like this when i took out my spark plugs and cleaned them. I checked the FSM for the correct gap distance on the spark plug and they were much smaller (about 5-7mm) then the stock spark plugs.

So i changed them to the correct gap distance (supposably) and tested it...oddly it lost power and bogged abit between 2-3rpm.

I changed it back to what they were before and the car runs fine.
