Ok, so i have a 2016 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner and its having a very strange issue. when you hit the unlock button on the fob the warning lights on the dash come on, the radio comes on, any accessory power comes on. even the odometer turns on. this just started today as i was getting ready to leave my parents place to head home. now if anyone is wondering, NO I DO NOT HAVE ANY AFTERMARKET ADD ON'S. When this happens the key is out of the ignition. i tried cycling the key and disconnecting the battery with reconnecting. Has anyone run into a similar issue with this before? If so please let me know what you have found. I plan on bringing this into my dealership to have it checked out since it is under warranty.

Thanks.

Probably nothing you haven't tried. But maybe disconnect the battery again and hold the brake to bleed any juice out of the system. At least I've heard this method before.. Throwing any codes? Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in order.

I think you can unplug the battery at the positive terminal, put the key in and turn it to the "on" position, then put on the positive terminal at the battery. Turn the key off and then on to start the car. Turn it off and lock it up and test your FOB. Does that work?
