Merging on to the freeway motor cut out but didn't turn off. I pull over, leave the car idling, checked all the intercooler pipes, wiggly the MAF wires etc. Nothing worked. Anytime i gave it throttle off idle it just sputtered and barely ran, but the car idled perfectly.

Eventually i tried reving it up over 3500rpm - bam! works perfectly drove home.

I thought fuel pump but it idled perfectly even when i couldn't rev it without sputtering.

I thought MAF, checked all the wires everything was good, but it is a used z32 MAF.

I has cut out a few more times while cruising but only breifly, 2-3 seconds, AF's go max lean (18+) then snap back to normal.

I'm stumped any ideas?

AFM meter issue. Check the codes on the computer. If the AFM or it's circuitry played-up, the eccs would set a code for the troubled zone.

Code 12 - AFM you where right Dee. Replacement is on its way.

On a seperate note while checking things out i noticed one of my injectors leaking so i am going to see if they can be rebuilt, kind of s*** as they have been cleaned/flow tested 2 year ago.

It's leaking from right under the yellow cap, not even enough to create drips or spray, just wetness that slowly creeps down the injector. What do you guys think rebuildable or garbage?

Looks like 444cc injectors. Compare the cost of rebuilding as compared to purchasing another set. Leaky injectors is a no-no and a fire hazard :nono:
