strange but interesting 240 swap

so im buying a 240 on friday. its a wagon.....

actually its an 88 volvo 240 wagon (non turbo) 5 speed. new dd.

im considering doing an rb20 simply becuase i miss my rb and i love the way it sounds. and i want a staega (sp?) but im a poor whitey working stiff. so ill make do.

anyhoo. just wondering if anyone had any knowledge to spread or just some opinions (swedish mike im looking in your direction)

the motor will be pushed to 280ish and thatll be it. not a power monster. just nough to haul my crap around.

so. what do you all think? im not worried about the fabbing, im more than capable of doing anyhting that might need to be done.

Hmm they are heavy cars right? All I know about older Volvo's is that they make complete SBC conversion for cheap, but thats it

yeah they are tanks, but its mostly just to be a fun car.

i do have a sbc in my s13, so i might just put that into the volvo and then do a rb20 in the s13. i dunno.

either way, itll be fun. the car is a fun driver and im definitely glad to be at least driving a rwd vehicle again.
