This just started happening today.

Just driving normal my car kept feeling like I let off the gas and would bog really hard for maybe half a second to a whole second then go back to normal. I never let off the gas when this happened, it only felt like it. It kept doing this for a good while then would stop and be fine, then start up again.

One time it bogged down for enough time for me to floor the car to see what it would do and the car did not respond at all. I didn't hold down the pedal for very long I just pushed it to the floor to see if there was any response and when I saw none I let off.

Any clues? It's pretty late so I didn't have time to really check anything.

There's not smoke coming out of the exhaust and the car sounds fine.

im having a similiar issue with mine, where it will bog in low rpm the same way you described while just putting my foot on the floor,

my motor blew from another issue about 2 weeks after it started. Thus after the swap of a new long block, there are only a handful of sensors in the car that were on it before the swap. sadly im still having the issue.. but mine gets so bad that when it starts to bog it will start shooting fireballs..

Now keep in mind that i have swapped out the ECU, TPS, MAF, Iginiton Chip, rewired the whole MAF side of the wiring harness, and adjusted the timing. The only sensor i have not tested with a known working one is the CAS.. now i have tested all the connections and harness wiring to all these sensors to... im getting a friends CAS to put in just in case thats the problem.. but its got me completely frustrated as it sits... O and when its cold out it won't stay idling till the car is warmed up.

If u have any idea or figured out what your problem was let me know its pissing me off lol

Maybe you are not getting enough fuel. Have you checked fuel pressure? Have enough gas in the tank? Try pulling your spark plugs and taking a look at them. Maybe there is a piece of the electrical tape wrapped around the MAF sensor probe. Could be a lot of things....

otterman check your tps and maf voltage..tps voltage should be .45 to .55 volts at idle and 4.5volts at w.o.t. The maf should have a 12v wire a 5v wire and a ground..these are probably not your problem since you are not running rich..usually when your car bogs and there is no smoke involved you have a broken spark plug or your fuel filter is clogged or one or two of your injectors are not opening. check for boost leaks as well.

BTW nsilviaracer not to sound like an @$$ but dont threadjack, start your own topic
