Strange Bluetooth problem

Anybody else had this problem? Twice now I have made a call using voice dialing. I have spoken the number, the wonderful lady voice has repeated the number exactly as I said it, I said dial, the call went through, but it was a totally different number dialed. WTF? Is this a bluetooth problem or a problem with my phone? (Samsung A950)

I have to ask the obvious question here...

Seven digit dialing, or ten digit dialing?

Try to use ten-digit whenever possible, it's more accurate.

Other than that, I have no clue. Could be your BT module, could be your phone, could be your network. I don't suppose a friend would let you borrow their phone for a week or so?

We have to use 10 digit dialing here. I'm going to run it by Nissan and see if they can figure it out.

This doesn't answer your problem but might help on another problem I ran into.

I just got my Versa Thursday and being the fanatic I am the first thing I did was enter 40 names and 54 numbers in my Versa Bluetooth phonebook.

Maybe due to my Texas drawl it was hit and miss on making calls. I kept getting the "Command not reconized". I found the Speaker Adaptation (SA)Mode info on page 4-39 and performed the rather lengthy procedure and now every time I make a call it performs great.

Just a note if you do this you have to press the Phone/Send button after the first phrase is given(phone book new entry) then again after you say the phrase then repeat this procedure for each of the other 20 something phrases you will have to repeat.

Sorry this is such a long first post. Will try to be briefer in the future.

My problem isn't one of recognition. Like I said it repeated the number back to me correctly but then proceded to dial a different number. Still havent taken it in.
