Strange audio issue...

Past few months or so Ive been noticing a strange issue. Not sure how to best describle the sound issue but I'll try my best. When listening to Howard Stern on XM I very often hear sounds of "static" or "popping". Best I can describe the sound is imagine your stereo is on, and you take your speaker wire and keep attaching/detaching it from the speaker.

Some notes....I only notice this listening to Stern (dont really listen to any other talk stations). I dont notice it with music channels.

I dont lose any audio, just hear the noise.

I have the bose system, no mods.

My best guess is just a loose wire somewhere but that doesnt explain why I only notice on Stern show.

Is it coming from any one speaker or all of them?

Does it do it when listening to CD's or other radio stations?

I believe its coming from all speakers, or at least the fronts. That the wierd thing, I dont notice it when listening to other stations or CD's.

If you're not noticing it on anything other than one source, that makes me think it's an issue with the source, not your hardware. If it was a hardware defect, it should be noticeable on everything.
