o.k. i finally cut out all 3 mufflers after the cats. and left stock muffler in the rear.the sound stayed the same. it changed just alittle. on the scale 1 thu.10.10 being the loudest , i will give 2% louder. good i just paid only $125 due to my friend doing all the work.fist i took out 2 muflers , nothing , then i took out the middle piece still nothing. only one thing i am happy about that it is now straight thru. and gain some performace out of it. also i opened the valve on the second pipe. on the good news i smoked the new s2000 at 90mph. and he knew it was coming. that happend b 4 the mods.i' d say if you got the friend that could do the work for cheap do it. if it will cost over $250 dont.

so you said 1 to 10 scale, it got a 2% increase ...stock sounds @ 1, after all the exhaust work its 1.2 ??? not bad u fisted 2 mufflers too ??

i wanted to make mine 1 straight pipe 3 inch header back, if i really do that i'll report to u guys

I highly doubt that the performance changed at all, at least not for the good, but we'll never know. Lets see some pictures and a sound clipCheers

you think i will loose power?freeing up the exaust? will take it to he track and find out.these is nothing to see in the photo just pipes and no mufflers. sound did not change enoug that you will hear @ ideling ot ravint it up. only when you drive it got a little lower, just a little.good for me, i like.
