So Originally i had dual in dual out flowmaster but i felt it wasent loud or deep enough (almost sounded like a civic) so i took the muffler off and got a universal x pipe and boyyyyy does she purr. Its nice and quiet at idle but roars like a monster when i stomp it. Everyone turns and looks. Ill post a video up if you guys want to hear it.

Can you post a picture so I can see how you attached it? My muffler recently fell off and i was thinking of straight piping it for a fun cheap fix.

Ya I will. I've been really busy but I will. All I did was take the muffler off and put an x pipe in it place if u run duals straight it pops. If ur just doing one side do a y pipe

Sounds sick, i wanted to do a flowmaster or borla so i could still pass inspection. Btw your pathy looks clean and i never really liked the bumper guards and light guards but i think it looks sick on your black pathy. How much did the lift cost you?

Good job!, i like the exhaust, sounds mean. The lift with the wheels looks pretty decent to me too.

I noticed all of your accessories are black (rear bumpers guard, front guard, etc), i think if you painted the gray roof rack rails, running-boards and the grill gray center piece black, then a fresh detail, it would all flow perfect! To me the gray just seemed out of place..

also once again IMO id remove the cheesy 4x4 badge on the trunk, but its your car.

Ya that 4x4 things been on there since i got it. I want it off but dont want a big scratch or stain. The roof rack and maybe even the running boards would be cool in black.

In the front, where our nissan emblem is mounted, that part is gray also, with the chrome trim around it.

And you can remove the 4x4 easily, take a old credit card (wont scratch your paint or clear) and pry it up, then scrape off the glue, now you need to get some bug&tar remover and then when its off , just dab some rubbing compound on it, then polish, and rub it with a clean microfiber.

I had my exhaust cut off after the cats for a few months. During that time I loved the noise, but noticed decreased torque and that was proven with drag slip times as well as some oil consumption issues.

You mean like all the way cut off or straight piped? If staright piped did u use a y pipe or x pipe and duals or just duals. Because It still feels the same to me and I timed my 0-60 with my lift and subs at 9.6 seconds before and its around the same with the exhaust

Damn 9.6, you definetly have to check some stuff out, i have subs also, along with my hitch on at the moment, and the heavier 20"s and mines pretty damn quick, then again all my maintenance stuff is all synthetic fluids, and in good working order.

Did you do the intake mod i posted up here a few years ago or no? Im also not sure if you were one of the ones that had the K&N Cold air installed or not, but definetly look into the intake mod cause it yields probably the same results.

I dont remember exactly when, but around 3 years ago, right after it was lowered, had the stock 16"s on with worn all seasons (lighter tires+wheel) me and my dad used a obd2 tool to time it, i think we got 7.1 on the best run, and we did like 4.

Ya idk what happend. She used to be a kot quicker but started to be a little sluggish. I mean still very peppy of the line and first gear but it doesnt get uo there as quick as it used to. I do have a k&n intake. But my suns are also about 200lbs not includin the 50 lbs audio battery. But even before the lift and ehaust it was like that. Not to sure why

Spark plugs, fuel filter, drain trans fluid - replace filter and put in new fluid, fix any codes if you have a CEL, change diff fluids with synthetic, along with oil if you dont already.

I feel like im missing something to check, but when it comes to me i'll add.

Edit: I just looked at your video quick again, and i see why yours will be slower...

Brush guard up front, the rear one, subs, taillight guards (still adds weight), and you also said an extra batt. Thats probably an easy extra 500 your lugging around.

I have a full system in mine, but my subs dont weigh anywhere close to that, maybe 50-55lbs with both subs and the sealed enclosure, and 2 amps which is minuscule weight. I dont know about you but i know certain people keep alot of s*** in their car, personally i dont have anything in mine other then some papers, and change.

Other then that, this is your choice, but i have the center piece running along the front of the roof rack removed in mine for a few years now, yours is already lifted so its worse cause its even higher, but think about that extra 5-6 inches of car air has to go over at highway speeds. And currently at the moment i have my running boards removed, but im putting them back for the winter so i dont have gravel and salt slinging at my paint.

I also have a hitch on which you do also, adds probably like 50 pounds, but i've decided to keep it on cause it makes the rear feel tigher and it does act like a frame brace in a sense, i also have one up front under the LCA's.

And at one point i also had my spare tire off, but it definetly made my rear too light, and my rear slides like crazy in the rain already cause of the wide 20s, torquey VQ, and real stiff suspension and tire sidewalls. In yours it might be ok though and you'll loose some weight cause you have heavy a** subs.

I know your not going to remove the guards cause you have them for a reason probably, but on a day to day basis assuming you dont travel lets say more then 50mi from your home, you dont need that spare, you could remove the running boards, and take the center piece of the roof rack off would probably help your 0-60, along with MPG your getting.

Ya i dont keep stuff i my car besides my bookbag. I have no spare tire because of the dual exhaust. The subs are the main cause but i dont drive fast or accel hard that much anymore and id rather have my subs. Ive given up speed on this pathy haha. I would like to be able to get a little quicker.but i dont wanna remove my guards or subs. But i think ive done all the performance stuff i can spark plugs and fuel filter were done less than 5k ago

I also heard synthetic would not be good for our engines. Oil wise

The owner's manual for 03-04 model years does not recommend the use of synthetic oil, but I am not sure why this is; I fail to see why. The only possible reason I can think of is that 03-04 Pathfinders have an electronic throttle body vs. the mechanical TB of previous years. Oil blow-by through the PCV valve can accumulate on the TB (unless you install a catch can) and perhaps the electronic TB is more sensitive to cleaners or build-up. However, if anything, synthetic oil should probably have lower NOACK volatility (evaporation of oil)... I still think it'd be fine to run synthetic engine oil in a 03-04 VQ35DE.

Wow i never knew they put something like that in the 03-04 owners manual. If anything it definetly wont cause a problem. There are so many cars with ect that run synthetic fine. I run synth in my audi and sonata which are both ect, and it would help if anything in the vq cause its a more performance tuned engine.

The path has had valvoline full synthetic since about 15k miles, i run mobil1 synth in the audi and shell synth in the sonata.

Nice looking pathfinder! I'm gonna be honest. I liked the sound of your pathfinder in your seafoam video a little better than it is now. Still sounds great though.

What type of brush guard did you get and would that support a winch mount? I've got an '02 and I think they are the same front end. Thanks!
