well, this winter was the first time i stored my car for winter ( im in the northwest)

ive been starting it up every two weeks or so to keep everything somewhat fresh and lubed up, but something i noticed recently was a bit of mold spores in a few areas:

the insulation under the hood and on some parts of the engine block
carpet in the trunk

so far, im just going to dry it out in the spring completely (its too wet from day to day here unfortunatly to do it sooner...) and then vaccuum/ use mold remover on the carpet and on the insulation

OR

i will just strip the interior like man and then throw the carpet away.

ANYWAYS, i was just wondering what everyones thoughts are on the wisest thing to do, along with any tips for storing their cars in wet climates (i know everyone isnt ballin enough to afford heated garages and not everyone drives their 240 all year round)

I have two garages, one in at my house, the other is down the block. The one I rent is 75 bucks a month. not heated, but dry
