Storing OEM Wheels/tires

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

what advice/recommendations can you guys give me about storing my OEM wheels over the summer. i have my summer wheels on now and i am currently storing the oem wheels in my garage lined up against the wall. because these wheels have the TPMS sensors in them, i wanted to know whether i need to store it in a particular position or have to rotate the wheels slightly from time to time. i know these sensors are sensitive equipment so how should i store these.

The sensors are in battery conservation mode until the centripetal force created by the wheel rotating activates them (I think it is about 5 MPH). So no worries with storing them. For long term storage keeping tires in a dark and cool environment is supposed to help; what and how long it helps isn't clear.
