...on my commute the other day and took some pics.

I may complain about my commute from time to time, but if I ever stop appreciating it it's probably time for me to start looking for a new job.

This doesn't apply during the winter, which can downright suck at times. Weather is only semi-predictable and is never the same at elevation as it is when/where I leave home. Is it any wonder I stress tire quality so much?

Took a little spin through the Smoky Mountain National Park, then the Blue Ridge Parkway and stopped in Asheville, NC before heading back home last weekend, and while I may miss the wide open spaces of the midwest I don't think I'll ever get tired of seeing this...

I was wondering how long it would take you to get one with your car in it. :chuckle:

Beautiful scenery and beautiful Z. We have pretty foliage here, but no hills. This is the flat part of Tennessee. :squint:

That Yellow just sets that entire last photo off, needs more panorama though hehe.

Too bad we don't have those kinds of roads here in Flawda, i would be Tougen' it every damn day.

Yeah, I wish I could have gotten a bigger backdrop, but despite the uncrowded look of the photo that place was packed. I actually waited for a car to leave before I took that shot.

I suppose I could go there now and take a pic, of course it would be in the Xterra and it would be a big, white backdrop. ;)

Before I retired I had an hour drive to work, not unlike you each season offered great views and a very enjoyable drive. I never thought of taking pictures, after seeing the pictures of your drive I now wish I took a bit of time to take a few. Great ride also, the yellow just jumps off the page.

It is nice to see people that enjoy true beauty. One morning I was driving to work on a barely traveled 2 lane road. As I turned the corner, there was a large field with the sunrising in the background and about 15 deer grazing. I just stopped for a few seconds to look. Some a-hole came up behind me and honked at me. REALLY??? He could have gone around me or he could have taken 5 seconds to enjoy natures beauty.

I hope I never get that way.

Funny thing, I almost didn't get the car because of the colour, but it's grown on me over the years. My favourite colour for the 350Z has always been the Brickyard Red (maybe it's the Hoosier in me) and on the 370Z the similar Black Cherry paint.

But at this point I'm pretty connected to the colour of my car. so I guess if I stepped into a 370 I'd be going with the Chicane Yellow so I didn't confuse anyone. :)

Snapped this one in my driveway this weekend. Background isn't as beautiful as yours, but I thought it was a good pic.

That Black Cherry is probably the only color I could go with aside from my 370 and still have that "upscale/exotic" look to it. Otherwise it's pearl white for me all the way. The Black Cherry is just absolutely gorgeous.
