Energy Suspension motor mount inserts and a good suspension are the best two mods for the wheel hop issue.

ES MMI's and a Weapon R TQ Damper. I also hear that the Nismo lower tie bar helps.

04 and 06 were the same.

Yes, Nissan offers some high-durometer rubber mounts, they're a compromise between the increase in vibration from polyurethane ones and the wheel hop issue with the stock rubber ones. The urethane ones are better if the goal is purely to kill wheel hop, but if you find it only a minor problem, then the high-density rubber may suit you better.

Vibration are only worst when all possible accessories are on such as: AC/defrost. You can get a lot of vibrations on cold time too, mostly at winter. You get used to it pretty fast. It's only your passengers who will always complain. Otherwise than that, MMI + torque damper is a good add on to have no wheel hop at all. Plus, with the torque damper, shifting gear is easier too.

Do it!
