I got this message and what I have found is that the rear left tail/stop light works when the lights are on, but does not when the brakes are pressed. It is the same bulb 1157. I put in a new bulb and it did the same thing. What could be the problem? Help me out guys I'm a chick! :wtf2: :werd:

Is that the light in the back window? I am talking about the tail light on the left under the signal.

Check the ground for the lights, then check the bulb sensor.

The sensor is located behind the trim panel near the trunk latch on the body of the car. I would check your bulb sockets for corrosion and melting before you start pulling it apart...

The sensor test is located on EL-30 and it's location is shown on EL-257 of the factory service manual. It's available at www.nicoclub.com/FSM/
