Damn bro that really sucks. From a fellow vert owner, I hope you get your ride back safe and sound. If not, I hope the fuhkers who stole it pay big time.

Ouch. Doubt it'll be trailered all the way up here, but I'll look for it in spirit. This makes me want to invest in Lojack now...

Wow , thanks for the support everyone. I do have to the thieves some credit where credit is due. the car was parked between a lexus gs and an altima in a circular driveway, the only way out was over a steepish grassy knol.would taken a few of them chaps to lift and push it since it would have bottomed out . The punks difentaly had good taste and some balls.

Here's a pic of what I woke to up this morning.http://picasaweb.google.com/gu...02498

that sucks dude, keep in touch with the police, sometimes cars get dumped on the highway after a joyride or robbery. Not sure if your up to it but posting the vin number might help. That way if anyone is junkyarding in the future and finds it (or heaven forbid a part) it might help track down who stole it. I'll keep an eye in cleveland, it would be fairly noticeable since I'm the only one up here who has one.

vin# jn3ms37axpw203393 , hope it helps most of the good parts dont have the vin on them ; hood, seats and stereo system, CD's. worst part about this ordeal is that I had a set of keys to three other cars and the house keys. Really has me freaked they might come back as you can imagine.

Thankx for the support everyone,

Start changing those locks then. Last thing you need is your house robbed.

Take it from a guy who has experience (stolen car + stolen goods from home):

1. Yes, could be a chance your car is found somewhere abandoned.

2. change your house locks. ASAP. I mean ASAP. As in, do it RIGHT NOW.

I am sorry that happened to you. I have been fortunate that I have never had a vehicle stolen. But know several close people that have and sometimes it is returned through abandonment and sometimes you never see it again. And sometimes, like about 6 months ago, that guy that bought a brand new 1963 corvette got it returned to him by the police. It was stolen right after he bought it and had been painted a time or two in teh meantime but he was happy to get it back nonetheless. I hate thieves and their practices and the way their minds think, to wait and watch, etc. I'm not making fun of your dilemma but the website below is a pretty amusing fantasy that we as 'vert owners could put into practice. To just have one time that we, as vert owners, could come out on top. It is what could be in "our" court for a change..............watch it and then go down to the pet store and buy one......right after you get those locks changed, of course........and I do hope and pray that you will get it returned. Good luck. msp

yo that sucks man, i knew a guy with a 1993 civic hatch. Authentic type R engine swap which was fully built and tuned, fully redone interior, HKS racing ECU. he got a body kit and a new mettallic silver paint job and some work wheels. he finished the car after 5 years of hands on work, he did it all himself and he worked his butt off to get the money. one day he woke up and it was gone. he reported it and all and then he was driving with a friend a week later and he thought he saw it in a parking lot. they roll up next to it and its missing a couple things. like the seats the ECU, the steering wheel, motor, exaust, wheels. basically they left the body and the body kit and the carpet. just goes to show that a good alarm system is a ver good investment, especially for vert owners. Its a dying breed lol. anyway man, i'll look around for it i know its been a while but it could still be circulating. i doubt that someone went through so much trouble to steal the vert just to rip it up and part it out when there was a lexus right in front of it. its prolly still whole. I HOPE YOU FIND IT

My cars are either in a garage or have guard dogs around them. Investing in GPS before my project gets finished...
