Well heres my story i posted here about 2 weeks ago about a Seized Turbo. Well i order all the parts i needed turbo and all. well yesterday i put all my parts on my SR just not the Hotpipe,Downpipe, and Intake. I ran out of sunlight so i called it a day well about 3:30am or 4 i heard my car start up :wtf2: , i ran out side and what you know some jackass stole my car. well i know that everyone in this forum know when the MAF or Hotpipe is not hooked up the SR runs like crap.. well the car did know more then 10MPH my bro and i chased after him but i sliped on the grass and my bro jumped on the hood but lost his grip.. well since the car was going to slow my bro had time to go get his truck we chased him. we seen him ditch the car from a far so when we got to the car my damage was broken mirror, ignition, and exhaust "the zip ties broke that was holding it up" so it was draged for who knows how far.. so my question is anyone think my motor might be good because it had no Oil,Coolant, and the oil drain tube was not connected, i havent started it yet cuz im still ording the new parts that he broke. it spun freely when i used a breaker bar on the crank. so any imput helps!

Be sure GUYS and Girls to lock your doors, set your Killswitchs, whatever you have.. So people like that cant steal our rides that we put our Blood,Sweat,Tears, and MONEY into!!!!!!

The only thing i would worry about is the lack of oil. Coolant is not really the issue. He was going slow and without the maf it couldn't really rev out. Chances are good he didn't over heat it.

Was there any oil at all in it? If he was drving with a bare crankcase that could be really bad. Really the only thing to do is a leakdown test. Then drop the oil pan and look for metal and listen for knock. The only thing that would of really happened to the bottom end is spun bearings. Worst thing for the top end is grinded cams and rockers.

I would pull the vale cover first and checl the top end. Then do a leakdown, and drop the oil pan. Better yet maybe put some oil in start it, and dump the oil and look for metal instead of dropping the pan.

If the leakdowns good, with no metal in the oil and no knocking from the block I would say the bottom end is good.

Wow dude glad you got your ride back. Definitely do a leak down test and pop valve cover and oil pan. It is a shame that somebody wants to steal something that most of us work hard for. Best of luck and hope everything works out for you.

No one good thing was that my motor still had whatever coolant or oil was left in the block. plus side to that nite it was only like 55 degrees so it was cold.I also had a rubber cork in the drain side of the turbo so what ever oil was in the trubo stayed in the trubo.. but as soon as my parts come in ill start the car do a leakdown, darin oil, and valve cover to see if theres damage which hope theres none.
